Lung Cancer

Lung cancer occurs when cells in the lungs grow uncontrollably and form tumors. It is broadly classified into two types: Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) – the most common form, and Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) – which is more aggressive and spreads faster.

Smoking is the leading cause of lung cancer, but it can also occur in non-smokers due to environmental exposure, genetic predisposition, or occupational hazards.
