Bladder cancer typically begins in the urothelial cells lining the bladder. It often presents early with symptoms like blood in urine and painful urination, making it one of the more detectable cancers.

Risk is higher in smokers and those exposed to industrial chemicals.

  • Can be non-muscle-invasive or muscle-invasive
